One of the major issues in our health care reform debate has been how other universal health care systems around the world function. In Canada, for instance, they have a nationalized health care system in which everyone is included and which has functioned to keep cost down. So how do the Canadians feel about it? The only Canadians I know, a pastor friend with who I went to seminary, think highly of it, as of the last time I talked with him.
And then here is a first-person account that I found online. It seems that much criticism of the Canadian system is based on misinformation or lies.
