Tiger As Sexual Opportunist

Here's an interesting perspective on Tiger:
A sage once counseled, “A man is basically as faithful as his options.” With that wisdom in mind, let’s step back and examine Tiger’s recently revealed “transgressions” from 20,000 feet.

It takes only minimal imagination and maturity to recognize that professional athletes lead a Caligula-like existence. There is no need for histrionics—particularly from men—each time one gets caught with his jockstrap down. Athletes often become rich and famous at 20 or 21—an age of recklessness and one that pretty much coincides with their sexual primes—and work in a field that requires constant travel (hence the phrase “a woman in every city”). Of course most take advantage of these opportunities. Of course most get around. You don’t have to like it, but be a grownup about it.
