The Clock Is Ticking

The Caretaker makes a plausible case below for Summers and Geithner as the crew members who will bring this economic ship of state home safe from its current storm-tossed voyage.

Tim Geithner, in his interview with Charlie Rose, said that capitalism as we have know it over the last 25 years or so is gone, to be replaced by a more conservative, balanced, stable, regulated form (my words, not his).

I hope that he isn't just blowing smoke here. So far, I don't see evidence in anything he's done to back up these words. It's still early, but the clock is definitely ticking.
