I hope this is the beginning of Obama bringing his game to a new level. He has always shown a propensity to rise to meet new challenges, to adapt to new situations.
Its easy to forget that the guy has only been in office for two weeks. And he is already passing the largest spending bill in American history, all the while still trying to find the light switches in his office. He certainly deserves a little slack, but thats just the thing, he can't get any slack right now, the stakes are too high. My gut says he will get this right, but there is no way any of us can know until we are looking in the rear view mirror.
