The McCain Operatives Are Not Credible

While it would be nice to dump on Sarah Palin, it would be wrong to believe the McCain campaign operatives who are leaking stuff on Palin, such as that she didn't know that Africa was a continent and not a country. After all, these are the people who picked her and tried to sell her to the country as a suitable VP. If they are telling the truth now, about her ignorance, they were lying back then about her suitability. And vice versa. So they simply are not credible at all. The only way I'd believe the Africa thing is if they had a recording of it. This is not to defend her, because she clearly isn't up to the job, given all that we've seen. But it's the McCain campaign's fault for picking her in the first place, with almost no vetting. They were the reckless ones, while she was just the unprepared one.
