Overreach

In his NYT column, David Brooks tries to prognosticate a few years into an Obama presidency (I guess he thinks it's a 'done deal'). He see a broad economic crisis, attempts to address it by overspending, Democratic overreach, and broad American backlast to those efforts which help the Republicans. A quite plausible scenario, actually, but certainly one that is written by a Republican advocate.

If he's right, it may be a good time to live overseas for a few years. But then again, Obama could just be smarter than that.
