It does say something about a political disposition when its most prominent expositors are Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage.
That is true.
Andrew Sullivan would of course add here that what these folks represent is not true conservatism, but a form of ideological/political fundamentalism. Check out his book The Conservative Soul.
Trouble is, anyone can call themselves conservative, but who really gets to define it?
